Kerala's political landscape was shaken on Sunday as a video supporting UDF candidate Rahul Mamkootathil mysteriously surfaced on the CPI(M) Pathanamthitta district's official platform. The incident has ignited debates just days before crucial bypolls.
CPI(M) officials initially denied the authenticity of the page but later confirmed it had been hacked. KP Udayabhanu, the district's secretary, stated that the post aimed to stir controversy was discovered through media reports.
The video was swiftly taken down, and a formal complaint was submitted to both cyber police and Facebook. Meanwhile, BJP leaders alleged it revealed a covert alliance between LDF and UDF for the upcoming elections.
