Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah launched an attack on the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) during rallies in Jalgaon and Buldhana, accusing the coalition of engaging in appeasement politics detrimental to Maharashtra's social unity.
Shah highlighted a recent memorandum by the Ulema Association, demanding a 10 percent job and education quota for Muslims, as a divisive measure that threatens the benefits allocated to Dalits and other backward communities.
Shah criticized the MVA's affinity for power over marginalized communities' welfare, asserting BJP's commitment to oppose religion-based reservations. He also mentioned that Maharashtra lost its industrial edge under the previous MVA government and accused the opposition of undermining national security and delaying development projects.
