Shiv Sena MLA Shrinivas Vanga, who represents the Palghar constituency in Maharashtra, returned home on Wednesday after being unreachable for two days.
According to his family, Vanga was upset about being denied a ticket by Eknath Shinde's party for the upcoming state elections. Despite his absence, the family did not file a police complaint, indicating his disappearance was deliberate.
Vanga, who secured his seat in the 2019 elections as a member of the undivided Shiv Sena, had sided with Shinde but expressed remorse for this decision earlier. His return has stirred political conversations, especially with his videos gaining traction on social media.
