Sanjay Raut, a leader from Shiv Sena (UBT), stated on Wednesday that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition has been successful in pacifying dissidents at 90 percent of seats contested against the alliance's official nominees.
Describing the intricacies of maintaining unity in an alliance, Raut said, 'Such occurrences are expected. To achieve change, cooperation is crucial, and we have persuaded the majority of our party workers. The combined leadership of Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar, and Congress aims to resolve these tensions promptly.'
With the last date for withdrawal of nominations on November 4, efforts to address internal rivalries continue. The complexities of multiple parties vying for limited seats remain a challenge. However, Raut remains open to dialogues, hoping to reconcile disputes, especially in contentious areas like Sangole and Alibag.
