The All India Congress Committee (AICC) spokesperson Alok Sharma launched a scathing attack on former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Tuesday. He accused Das of failing to deliver during his tenure and criticized him for promoting his daughter-in-law, Purnima Das Sahu, in the upcoming elections.
Addressing media in a press conference, Sharma highlighted that Das did little for Jamshedpur's growth, a city with potential comparable to Delhi or southern IT hubs. He accused Das of accumulating personal wealth rather than supporting local development, leading to the youth migrating for employment elsewhere.
Sharma claimed that the election is a battle between the 'Gang of Parivar' and Congress candidate Dr. Ajoy Kumar, a reputable IPS officer. He emphasized the opportunities lost under Das' leadership, including establishing an IT park to stimulate economic growth.
