Union Minister for Food Processing Industries, Chirag Paswan, attended the Rozgar Mela event in Thiruvananthapuram, where he witnessed the distribution of appointment letters to new recruits. In his remarks, Paswan emphasized the importance of this initiative, describing it as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Amrit Kal' vision for a developed India by 2047. Congratulating the recruits, he urged them to fulfill their responsibilities as part of the government's workforce.

Earlier, Prime Minister Modi awarded over 51,000 appointment letters through video conferencing, showcasing his administration's commitment to job creation. The Rozgar Mela underlines efforts to equip the youth with opportunities crucial to nation-building, strengthening the employment framework under the current regime.

Meanwhile, political tensions heat up in Wayanad, as Priyanka Gandhi Vadra enters the fray for the Lok Sabha bypolls, raising questions about Congress's past performance. Chirag Paswan critiqued Congress for not transforming the nation during their long-held governance. He attributed NDA's continuous electoral success to public trust in their policies and leadership, citing progress in BJP-led states like Haryana as evidence.

The bypoll in Wayanad, a critical seat for Congress, pits Priyanka Gandhi against the BJP's Navya Haridas and Left's Sathyan Mokeri. This contest follows Rahul Gandhi's move to the Raebareli constituency in Uttar Pradesh. As campaigning intensifies ahead of the November 13 polls, the outcome will be pivotal for Congress's prospects in retaining their bastion.

The Wayanad bypoll coincides with the bye-elections across 47 assembly seats in 15 states, alongside the first phase of the Jharkhand assembly elections, marking November 13 as a significant date in the political calendar. (ANI)
