As Maharashtra's assembly elections loom, BJP leader Prakash Javadekar has launched a scathing attack on Congress over its election manifesto pledges. He labelled Congress's promises as "complete nonsense," citing the party's governance in Karnataka, Telangana, and Himachal Pradesh as evidence.
Javadekar accused the Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers from these states of deceit during their campaign in Maharashtra. He criticized Congress for allegedly terminating job posts in Himachal Pradesh despite promising job creation. Moreover, he claims Congress has failed to deliver financial support to women and timely salaries for government employees.
Focusing on Telangana, Javadekar highlighted delays in unemployment and women's allowances, while he alleged that Karnataka's free electricity pledge for farmers remains unmet. In contrast, he claimed BJP-governed states fulfill their promises, emphasizing the party's commitment to public service.
