New Haryana Assembly Sworn In with Diverse Representation

In a ceremonial gathering, the newly-elected members of Haryana's 15th state assembly took the oath of office, with Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini leading the proceedings. The event took place after the recent assembly elections, which solidified the BJP's power in the region.
Protem Speaker and seasoned Congress leader Raghuvir Singh Kadian administered the oaths. Saini, who ascended to the chief minister's position on October 17, was the first to be sworn in, followed by his council of ministers consisting of prominent MLAs including Anil Vij and Krishan Lal Panwar.
This significant occasion also witnessed the swearing-in of women MLAs, such as former Minister Geeta Bhukkal and Olympian Vinesh Phogat. Phogat, donning a sports jersey, invigorated the assembly with her slogan 'Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Khiladi, Jai Naujawan, and Jai Haryana' to encapsulate the spirit of the state.
