With just two weeks to go before the US presidential elections, a staggering 21 million Americans have already cast their votes amid an intense campaign between Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and Republican candidate Donald Trump.

Data from the University of Florida's Election Lab reveals that 7.8 million early votes were cast in person, while over 13.3 million were sent via mail ballots. This contrasts with India, where campaigning ceases 36 hours before voting begins, as American campaigns and voting continue simultaneously for at least four weeks.

Political experts believe the election outcome hinges on seven battleground states: Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia. Despite low early voting by Asian Americans, the Election Lab notes a strong Republican early voting presence, which may boost Trump's chances.
