Amid the ongoing preparations for the Jharkhand Assembly elections, Congress leader Rameshwar Oraon has addressed the disputes surrounding seat-sharing arrangements with the RJD. Oraon expressed gratitude to his party's high command for his ticket from the Lohardaga constituency, acknowledging that disagreements are a natural part of political negotiations.

As the elections approach, the Congress party revealed its first list of candidates, including prominent figures like State Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon, senior party leader Ajoy Kumar, and Jharkhand Health Minister Gupta. The elections will be conducted in two phases on November 13 and 20, with results announced on November 23.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren declared that the INDIA bloc, led by JMM and Congress, will contest 70 of the 81 seats, while talks continue with the RJD and Left parties for the remaining seats. Concurrently, the BJP released its candidate list, spotlighting key figures like Babulal Marandi and former Chief Minister Champai Soren.
