Amit Thackeray's Political Debut: MNS Announces Assembly Poll Candidates
Amit Thackeray, son of MNS leader Raj Thackeray, is set to contest from Mahim in the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections. The party announced its first list of candidates, including Sandeep Deshpande, who will challenge Aaditya Thackeray in Worli. Pramod Patil was also renominated from Kalyan rural seat.

Amit Thackeray, son of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray, is stepping into the political arena for the first time, contesting from the Mahim assembly seat.
The MNS unveiled its initial list of 45 candidates for the Maharashtra assembly elections, scheduled for November 20. Among the notable candidates is Sandeep Deshpande, who will face off against Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray in Worli.
Pramod Patil, the sole MNS MLA from the previous assembly, has been renominated to run in the Kalyan rural seat of Thane district.
