A Congress leader was fatally attacked on Tuesday in Telangana's Jagtial district, according to police reports.
Maru Gangareddy, 56, was traveling on a motorcycle when a car hit him in Jabitapur village. After falling, a rider from the car stabbed him, leading to his death. His body was taken to a local hospital.
Officials attribute the murder to rivalry and state that the culprit has escaped. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
