In the wake of a devastating terrorist attack in Ganderbal district, top Hurriyat Conference leaders have issued a strong condemnation. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, along with senior members like Prof Ghani Bhat and Bilal Ghani Lone, expressed deep sorrow over the events at the workers' camp.
The attack, which resulted in the death of a local doctor and six non-local laborers, has once again sparked conversations about the ongoing issues facing the Kashmir region. Mirwaiz emphasized the value of life and lamented the continuing cycle of violence that has plagued the area for decades.
PDP leader Iltija Mufti has criticized superficial political efforts, arguing for genuine attempts to address and resolve the deep-rooted issues in Kashmir. "How many more families must suffer for Delhi's ignorance?" she questioned, highlighting the urgency of finding a lasting solution.
