Senior Congress leader Ajoy Kumar has voiced his criticism against the BJP's allocation of tickets for the Jharkhand assembly elections, accusing the party of favoritism towards familial ties.

Kumar, part of the AICC executive committee, highlighted that despite the BJP's usual criticism of 'Parivarwad' within opposition parties, it has allotted tickets to relatives of prominent leaders like former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar's daughter-in-law Purnima Das Sahu, former Union Minister Arjun Munda's wife Meera Munda, and another former CM Champai Soren's son Babulal Soren.

He noted that although BJP has promoted women by giving them tickets, it failed to present any new leaders for the elections, instead relying on familiar family ties. Kumar urged the public to recognize the prioritization of personal interests over party and criticized the performance of leaders like Das during their tenure.
