Maharashtra BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule has vehemently refuted allegations that the party, in collaboration with the Election Commission, tampered with the state's voter list. Dismissing these accusations as laughable, Bawankule pointed to discrepancies in electoral rolls, particularly citing missing votes in Nagpur from the previous polls.

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has vehemently accused the BJP of manipulating the voter list to favor their candidates by replacing voters who supported the opposition with bogus entries. The Shiv Sena plans to raise these concerns at international forums to expose the alleged electoral misconduct.

Raut also claimed that Union Home Minister Amit Shah aims to impose President's rule in Maharashtra post-elections. The Shiv Sena has organized a special meeting to address the issue, emphasizing the need to spotlight discrepancies in voter lists observed in Maharashtra and Jharkhand.
