Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde launched a scathing attack on Congress and its leader, Rahul Gandhi, accusing them of exploiting caste-based politics for electoral gains. During a press briefing in Jalna, Maharashtra, Shinde claimed that voters in Haryana had decisively dismissed these divisive tactics, opting instead for development and progress.

Describing the Haryana election results as a 'clear rebuke' of Congress policies, Shinde expressed optimism that Maharashtra would follow suit in its upcoming elections. He praised the double-engine government model for providing stability, emphasizing the need for similar governance in Maharashtra's 288 constituencies where elections are due soon.

Highlighting the achievements of the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government, the MP cited initiatives like the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana and substantial infrastructure projects, including the Samruddhi Highway. Shinde emphasized the state's leadership in attracting foreign direct investment and noted significant support for farmers.

Shinde announced that a recent Rs 1,400 crore relief package had been sanctioned for farmers, surpassing NDRF guidelines. This aid is part of a broader Rs 12,500 crore assistance from the central government. Confident in the Mahayuti coalition's electoral prospects, Shinde asserted that public satisfaction with government performance was high.

In a subsequent meeting in Jalna, Shinde, alongside Shiv Sena leaders, engaged with beneficiaries of government schemes and local professionals, reinforcing the administration's commitment to positive change. The conference underscored the political stakes and developmental goals ahead of Maharashtra's assembly elections.
