In a sharp political exchange, Janata Dal-United leader Dr. Khalid Anwar took aim at Rahul Gandhi, accusing the Congress leader of merely brandishing the Constitution without adhering to its principles. Anwar's critique comes in response to Gandhi's allegations that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) attempts to undermine Adivasi history and culture, claims made during his address at the 'Samvidhan Samman Sammelan' in Ranchi.

Anwar, speaking to ANI, countered Gandhi's assertions, highlighting BJP's milestone of appointing a tribal woman as the President, arguing that such actions reflect genuine inclusion. He asserted that Congress has historically failed to support tribal and impoverished communities, suggesting Gandhi's criticisms would not resonate with these groups.

As Jharkhand braces for its upcoming Assembly elections, political alliances face internal strife. Anwar spoke on the Rashtriya Janata Dal's (RJD) objections to seat-sharing arrangements, leaving Tejashwi Yadav with the choice to prioritize party, family, or state interests. Meanwhile, former BJP and AJSU leaders have defected to Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), bolstering JMM's position in the collaborative INDIA bloc poised to challenge BJP dominance.
