In a ceremony filled with anticipation, Jammu and Kashmir BJP chief Ravinder Raina lauded the newly-elected party MLAs, promising swift selection of the Leader of Opposition following consultations led by central observers.
BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh, who oversaw the elections in the union territory, confirmed ongoing meetings with legislators to finalize reports crucial for upcoming strategic decisions.
Expressing gratitude for the electoral success, Raina attributed BJP's historic win to the enthusiastic support of Jammu's people, culminating in 29 seats and a 26% vote share, marking the party's best performance in the area.
