LJP (Ram Vilas) to Contend Jharkhand Assembly Elections, Exploring Alliance Options

Union minister Chirag Paswan on Sunday confirmed that his party, LJP (Ram Vilas), will contest the assembly elections in Jharkhand. The party is exploring various options, including forming an alliance or contesting independently.
Paswan's announcement follows a statement made by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the BJP's election co-in-charge for Jharkhand, who disclosed that the BJP would contest the polls in alliance with the AJSU Party and JD(U).
Addressing reporters at the Ranchi airport en route to a rally in Dhanbad, Paswan emphasized that the state unit is considering all possibilities. He underlined the party's strong base in Jharkhand and its preparations for the upcoming elections. He added that candidate names would be announced soon.
