In the Haryana assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) struggled to make an impact, with none of its candidates showing promising leads across 90 seats. AAP Haryana president Sushil Gupta emphatically called for the removal of the 'corrupt and arrogant' BJP, irrespective of which party forms the government.

Regarding the stalled talks for an AAP-Congress alliance, Gupta remarked that an evaluation by high commands of both parties is necessary. He stressed that their alliance efforts at the national level weakened the BJP, suggesting similar outcomes had it occurred in Haryana. Meanwhile, the BJP is closing in on a third consecutive triumph as the Congress flags inconsistencies in the vote count presented by the Election Commission.

Congress spokespersons expressed skepticism about the lagging updates of vote counts, accusing the Election Commission of potentially influencing results. Pawan Khera pointed out discrepancies between actual rounds counted and those displayed. As initial results placed Congress in a favorable position, optimism was high; however, the latest trends indicate BJP's lead, with Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini ahead in Ladwa and Bhupinder Singh Hooda of Congress leading in Garhi Sampla-Kiloi.
