Political tensions in West Bengal took a violent turn as former BJP MP Arjun Singh alleged an attack on his office cum residence. The incident, involving stones, bombs, and gunfire, reportedly occurred at Singh's North 24 Parganas location early Friday morning.
Singh accused local figures, including Namit Singh, of orchestrating the assault with police inaction exacerbating the situation. In a video shared on social media, Singh voiced concerns over the safety and lack of law enforcement during the Navratri Puja celebrations.
While PTI has not verified Singh’s video claims, local authorities are investigating the matter. TMC representatives, however, dismissed Singh's allegations as baseless, attributing the disruption to the former MP's own political missteps and disputes unconnected to their party.
