In a fiery speech ahead of the Haryana Assembly polls, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi sharply criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of favoring billionaires at the expense of ordinary citizens.
Addressing a roadshow in Bahadurgarh, Gandhi highlighted how farmers are drowning in debt, contrasting it with the lavish expenditures on weddings by the wealthy. He promised reforms like reduced gas cylinder prices and direct financial aid to women if Congress wins.
Gandhi alleged that the BJP government attacks the constitution by prioritizing the interests of industrialists over those of farmers and the unemployed. He pledged to purchase paddy from farmers, provide them with MSP, and fill vacant government positions.
