Prashant Kishor, the political strategist-turned-activist, has launched his new political outfit, the Jan Suraaj Party, in Bihar. At the launch event, Kishor criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allegedly diverting the country's wealth to Gujarat.
Kishor, who gained prominence by handling Modi's 2014 Lok Sabha campaign, claimed that Bihar's development has been neglected while Gujarat prospers. He also took aim at local leaders, Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar, blaming them for the state's backwardness.
The launch event, held at Veterinary College Ground in Patna, saw notable figures like former Union minister Devendra Prasad Yadav and diplomat-turned-politician Pavan Varma in attendance. Kishor emphasized that his party is focused on improving education and job opportunities for Bihar's youth.
