Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday for his remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying he will not die before Modi is removed from power. Shah called Kharge's comments distasteful and disgraceful in a social media post.
Speaking at a rally in Jasrota, Jammu, Kharge had briefly felt dizzy but resumed his speech, reaffirming his commitment to seeing Modi ousted. Shah's rebuttal highlighted that Kharge's statements reflect the Congress party's intense hatred and fear of Modi.
In response, several Congress leaders, including Jairam Ramesh, countered Shah's focus, urging the Home Minister to address pressing issues like the situation in Manipur and the need for a caste census, rather than targeting Kharge. The political exchange continues to escalate with both sides entrenched in their positions.
