Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday responded to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's statement about not dying until PM Modi is removed from power. Singh stated, 'I pray to God that Mallikarjun Kharge lives for 125 years and that PM Modi remains Prime Minister for 125 years.' Singh made these remarks during a public rally in Charkhi Dadri.
Singh criticized the Congress for its alleged misgovernance, citing issues in Himachal Pradesh and corruption in Karnataka. 'You want to see the performance of Congress? Just look at Himachal Pradesh. They are not able to give salaries to their employees,' he said. Singh also noted that not a single minister in PM Modi's government has been accused of corruption during its ten-year tenure.
Further attacking the Congress, Singh alleged that Rahul Gandhi sullied India's image abroad. 'Any political leader abroad praises his own country, but did you listen to Rahul Ji? How he sullied the image of Bharat,' Singh said. Highlighting BJP's development achievements in Haryana, Singh mentioned the continuous provision of tap water, affordable urea for farmers, and significant financial support under various schemes. He also outlined BJP's manifesto promises, including financial aid for women, health benefits, and the 'One Nation, One Election' bill set to be introduced in the winter session of Parliament.
