Hezbollah's acting leader Naim Kassem vowed on Monday to persevere in their battle against Israel, even after a series of Israeli airstrikes wiped out much of the militant group's top command, including its leader Hassan Nasrallah.

In the last ten days, Israeli strikes have killed Nasrallah and six of his top commanders, according to the Israeli military. These operations have reportedly hit thousands of militant targets across Lebanon.

The ongoing conflict has resulted in over 1,000 deaths in Lebanon, nearly a quarter of which are women and children, per the Health Ministry's data.
