A viral video showing a tearful woman seemingly confronting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on an airplane has been extensively shared on social media. Users claimed she was a Kashmiri Pandit questioning Gandhi's stance on Kashmir.
However, a PTI Fact Check revealed the video dates back to August 24, 2019. At that time, Gandhi was visiting Srinagar but had to return to Delhi. The woman in the video was discussing the situation in Kashmir following the abrogation of Article 370 earlier that month.
The video, originally posted on Outlook Magazine's YouTube channel, has been misrepresented. PTI confirmed the misleading nature of these claims. For more information or clarification on viral claims, contact PTI Fact Check Desk.
