Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched a scathing attack on the Congress party during a public meeting in Gurugram, Haryana. He accused the Congress of pervasive corruption, land scams, and failing to maintain law and order. The meeting was organized in support of BJP candidate Mukesh Sharma.
Dhami extolled the achievements of the BJP's double-engine government, claiming it has strengthened law and order and introduced transparency in Haryana over the past decade. He accused the Congress candidate of nepotism and criticized the party's governance in other states, alleging financial mismanagement and corruption.
Highlighting infrastructure improvements, Dhami said every district in Haryana has been connected by national highways, and the railway budget has increased tenfold. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts in expanding the metro in Gurugram and the overall development in Uttarakhand. He urged voters to support the BJP, emphasizing that each vote for the BJP's lotus symbol would transform Haryana's future.
As Haryana prepares for its October 5 state legislative assembly elections, Dhami implored the public to choose BJP for continued progress. The vote count will occur on October 8. In the 2019 elections, the BJP secured 40 seats, while the Congress won 30.
