No Formal Mediation Track for Lebanon Ceasefire Says Qatari Spokesperson
Qatar's foreign ministry spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari confirmed that there is no formal mediation track for a ceasefire in Lebanon amid the violence between Hezbollah and Israel. He also mentioned the lack of a direct link between the Lebanon ceasefire proposal and the Gaza ceasefire effort worked on by Qatar, Egypt, and the USA.

Qatari foreign ministry spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari stated during a press briefing on Thursday that there is currently no formal mediation track aimed at establishing a ceasefire in Lebanon.
This statement comes in the wake of recent violence between Hezbollah and Israel.
Al-Ansari also clarified that he was not aware of any direct link between a 21-day Lebanon ceasefire proposal and the Gaza ceasefire efforts previously undertaken by Qatar in cooperation with Egypt and the United States.
