Rahul Gandhi Demands Modi's Clarification on Farm Laws Amidst Kangana Ranaut's Controversial Comments

Rahul Gandhi has called for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to clarify the BJP's stance on the farm laws, after MP Kangana Ranaut suggested they be reinstated. BJP has distanced itself from her remarks. Gandhi asserted that the INDIA alliance would oppose any attempts to harm farmers.

In a recent address, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi clarify the BJP's stance on the previously repealed farm laws. This comes after BJP MP Kangana Ranaut suggested reinstating the controversial laws, which had been rescinded following extensive farmer protests.

Gandhi stated that the INDIA bloc would not permit any conspiracy against farmers to succeed, emphasizing the importance of respecting the 700 lives lost during the protests. He urged Prime Minister Modi to clarify whether the government supports the revival of these 'black farm laws' or not.

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut issued an apology for her remarks, expressing regret and aligning her views with the party's stance. BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia reiterated that her comments were personal and not reflective of the party's position.
