A speeding luxury car belonging to the son of Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule allegedly hit several vehicles early Monday in Nagpur's Ramdaspeth area. According to Sitabuldi police, the incident involved two cars and a two-wheeler, resulting in minor injuries to passengers.

The police have registered a case of rash driving against Arjun Haware, the car's driver, and Ronit Chintanwar, who was in the passenger seat. The Audi causing the accident is registered to Sanket Bawankule, son of BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule.

Maharashtra BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule acknowledged to reporters that the car was registered in his son's name. He called for a thorough and impartial investigation, asserting that justice should be equal for all, regardless of political connections.

The Sitabuldi police are actively investigating the matter. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Congress has released a video alleging a government cover-up, questioning whether law enforcement only targets common citizens.
