Congress leader Kumari Selja's absence from campaigning for the Haryana assembly polls has ignited controversy. The BJP has intensified its criticism, accusing the Congress party of internal strife and holding an 'anti-Dalit' stance, as highlighted by Union Minister Amit Shah.
In response, Selja reaffirmed her allegiance to the Congress while deflecting questions about her purported dissatisfaction, stating that these are internal matters of the party.
The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief, Mayawati, also weighed in, urging Dalit leaders to sever ties with the Congress, exacerbating the tensions surrounding the assembly polls.
