In a bold political maneuver, AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday challenged RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat to account for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's actions, implying that the RSS should rein in its protege.
Addressing the rally, Kejriwal posed five pointed questions to Bhagwat, questioning the RSS's stance on the BJP's politics, including the use of central agencies to dismantle opposition parties and the induction of allegedly corrupt politicians. He further queried BJP's retirement rule inconsistencies, questioning whether the retirement age policy that applied to leaders like LK Advani would apply to Modi as well.
As Kejriwal spoke, BJP staged protests against him and the AAP, underscoring the contentious political atmosphere. Meanwhile, Kejriwal's supporters rallied at Jantar Mantar, expressing unwavering faith in his leadership while he vowed to continue serving the public without personal gain.
