Biden Accuses China of Aggressive Behavior in Key Regions

President Joe Biden claimed that China, under President Xi Jinping, is behaving aggressively in regions such as the South China Sea and the Taiwan Strait. During the Quad Leaders Summit, Biden suggested that Xi is using diplomacy to bolster China's interests while addressing domestic economic challenges.

President Joe Biden has leveled accusations against China, asserting that the nation is acting 'aggressively' across key maritime regions including the South China Sea and the Taiwan Strait. Biden's statements were made during the Quad Leaders Summit in Wilmington, Delaware, where he met with leaders from India, Japan, and Australia.

'China continues to behave aggressively, testing this all across the region, and it's true in the South China Sea, the East China Sea, South China, South Asia, and the Taiwan Straits,' Biden remarked during the summit, with his comments being broadcasted after the press left the room.

Biden further stated, 'We believe Xi Jinping is looking to focus on domestic economic challenges and minimize turbulence in China's diplomatic relationships, while securing diplomatic space to aggressively pursue China's interests.'
