Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday called upon the public to adhere to the saintly tradition of striving for national unity and to combat the 'conspiracies of divisive forces,' according to an official statement.

Speaking at a tribute ceremony at Goraknath Temple on the death anniversaries of saints Brahmalin Mahant Digvijaynath and Brahmalin Mahant Avaidyanath, Adityanath underscored the challenges posed by social disunity caused by caste discrimination and untouchability.

Adityanath remembered Mahant Avaidyanath Maharaj as a guide and social reformer and urged vigilance against divisive forces, emphasizing the role of saintly teachings in promoting a united society. Other religious leaders echoed Adityanath's sentiments, celebrating the educational and social contributions of the late saints.
