Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has credited the BJP's decade-long governance for the state's substantial development, expressing confidence in the party's return to power for a third consecutive term in the upcoming assembly elections. 'In the last 10 years, Haryana has developed a lot. Today, a huge difference can be seen between the work done in the last 50 years by the governments of Haryana and the 10 years of the BJP. Earlier jobs used to be sold in the state, but now the effort of the poor and perseverance of the youth is given priority. Earlier, farmers used to sell their crops, but money used to get deposited into someone else's account. Today, when farmers come back after selling their crops in the market, the money gets deposited into the farmer's account within 72 hours. Earlier, senior citizens in Haryana used to get a pension of Rs 500. Today, the senior citizens get a pension of Rs 3,000, which is the highest in the entire country,' he said at an election rally, which was addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Saini noted that PM Modi's Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao initiative from 2015 in Panipat had driven significant strides in women's empowerment in the state. Over the last 56 days, the state government has implemented 126 historic decisions for Haryana. 'The people of Haryana have decided to vote for BJP for the third term and form a double-engine government,' he affirmed.

During his remarks, PM Modi also urged the public to re-elect the BJP, criticizing Congress for its policies and praising Chief Minister Saini. 'Today, this son of Haryana is being praised all over the country. Very few people get so much popularity in such a short time and there is a reason for this. Our Chief Minister remains dedicated to the development of Haryana,' Modi stated.

Saini, currently campaigning in Ladwa, will be contesting in the assembly polls set for October 5, with votes to be counted on October 8. (ANI)
