Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, in his first remarks after release from Tihar Jail, pledged on Friday to relentlessly oppose 'anti-national' forces. Kejriwal's resolve to battle these forces has only been reinforced following his five months of incarceration.
Party leaders and supporters welcomed Kejriwal with open arms amid heavy rains outside the prison. The Supreme Court granted him bail, marking a significant victory for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which is eyeing electoral gains in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir.
Accusing the BJP of maligning their 'staunchly honest' leader, the AAP called for an apology from the saffron party. Meanwhile, the BJP demanded Kejriwal's resignation, labeling him 'a chief minister on bail.'
