Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during a BJP membership drive, condemning Gandhi's remarks about Sikhs. Kumar accused Gandhi of ignoring former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's historical actions against Sikhs.

Kumar asserted that the Congress Party, led by Rahul Gandhi, has no moral ground to speak on Sikh issues, recalling the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and claiming Gandhi's grandmother's involvement in atrocities against Sikhs.

The minister also attacked Gandhi for his statements in Washington DC, where Gandhi accused the RSS of religious discrimination. He warned that Congress's return to power could lead to national fragmentation and criticized its alliances with parties supporting Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
