Piyush Goyal Condemns Opposition's Criticism Over PM's Ganpati Puja Attendance

On Thursday, Union Minister Piyush Goyal vehemently criticized opposition parties for their disparaging comments regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's participation in Ganpati Puja at the residence of Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud.
Addressing reporters, Goyal condemned the opposition's actions as shameful attacks on Hindu sentiments and accused them of engaging in appeasement politics. He asserted that the public would not forgive such attempts to undermine traditional celebrations.
Modi's presence at the Ganpati Puja was welcomed by CJI Chandrachud and his wife, Kalpana Das. Opposition leaders and some Supreme Court lawyers have expressed strong disapproval of Modi's attendance. Goyal reiterated his stance that the people of India would not tolerate attacks on high constitutional authorities for participating in religious festivities.
