Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Wednesday embarked on a crucial visit to Delhi, aiming to secure funds for flood relief efforts. He is scheduled to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah, among others, to discuss aid following severe rains and floods.
An official source confirmed that a Central team has started assessing the damage caused by the recent deluge, which resulted in 29 fatalities and preliminary losses estimated at Rs 5,438 crore.
In parallel, Reddy will also meet AICC leaders to delve into party issues, amid speculations about possible cabinet expansion. Recently, MLC B Mahesh Kumar Goud was appointed as the new TPCC president.
