Chaos erupted on the streets of Gandhinagar when a school bus carrying children got stuck in a deep pothole on a road for hours on Thursday, officials said. A JCB later extricated the bus.

Officials confirmed no injuries in the incident. Vishal Rabari, Assistant Engineer, GMC, stated, "We immediately acted, pulling it out with a JCB... We filled the pothole... No casualties were reported."

Heavy rains have been disrupting normal life in Gujarat for the past few days. Rail and bus services have been affected, and waterlogging rendered several parts inaccessible. Gandhinagar experienced severe waterlogging, disrupting traffic on Tuesday. (ANI)
