Activist Demands Quick Compensation for Farmers' Losses After Heavy Rains

Activist Manoj Jarange has issued an urgent demand for immediate compensation for farmers whose crops were severely damaged by recent heavy rains in Marathwada.
Jarange spoke to reporters in Antarwali Sarati after a meeting with Maharashtra minister Abdul Sattar, where they discussed the ongoing Jarange-led agitation for Maratha reservation.
Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also participated in the discussions via phone, where Jarange highlighted the severe agricultural losses. Fadnavis assured that the issue would be prioritized in the next cabinet meeting. Sattar confirmed that the demands have been conveyed to the cabinet.
