Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday condemned Rahul Gandhi for his controversial remarks made during his US tour, branding them as “extremely shameful” and damaging to India's dignity.
In a post on X, Singh refuted Gandhi’s claims about the India-China border dispute and called his statements “misleading and beyond facts.” At a press conference in Washington, Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's handling of China, stating that Chinese troops are occupying significant Indian territory.
Responding strongly, Singh emphasized that Gandhi's allegations, especially those concerning the Sikh community and reservations, are completely unfounded and undermine India’s image abroad.
