Tejashwi Yadav, leader of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), categorically ruled out any future alliance with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal (United) on Tuesday, citing Kumar's past apologies for aligning with the BJP-led NDA. Yadav disclosed that Kumar had apologized with folded hands in front of his MLAs.

'Hamare ghar jab aaye to haath jodkar maafi maang rahe the. He had asked for forgiveness in front of all the MLAs, they were all witnesses,' Yadav stated. He stressed that Kumar's repeated apologies and oath-breaking have made him untrustworthy, ruling out any alliance in the Bihar assembly polls.

Highlighting Kumar's political instability, Yadav noted that Kumar's career has seen multiple alliances over the past two decades. In 2015, JDU and RJD formed a partnership, but it was short-lived. By 2017, Kumar had allied with the BJP, only to switch back to the RJD in 2022, and then back to the NDA in January.

Yadav also criticized the law and order situation under Kumar's administration, pointing out continuous murders and rampant crime. He remarked that criminals are unafraid of the police, and the Chief Minister's governance has failed to maintain order.

On Monday, BJP leader Munna Sharma was shot dead while reportedly resisting a chain-snatching in Patna. Sharma, a former BJP mandal president, succumbed to his injuries despite prompt medical attention.

Speaking about his 'Aabhar Yatra,' Yadav said, 'Today is the first day of our journey. We have come for the Karyakarta Darshan and Samvad program to communicate and listen to party workers. This initiative aims to strengthen the party by empowering its workers.'
