As the deadline for filing nominations for the Haryana Assembly elections nears, the potential alliance between the Congress Party and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) remains in limbo. AAP Haryana President Sushil Gupta announced on Monday that the party would release its list of 90 candidates if an agreement was not reached by the end of the day.

The sentiment was echoed by AAP RS MP Sanjay Singh, who added that the party has completed the selection process for all 90 legislative assembly seats in Haryana. 'Sandeep Pathak has issued a statement on this matter, and Sushil Gupta has reiterated that we are fully prepared,' Singh said. 'We await directions from party or national president Arvind Kejriwal before announcing our candidate list.'

Gupta confirmed that if no news comes from the high command regarding the alliance, AAP will release its list by the evening. 'As AAP Haryana chief, I'm preparing for the 90 assembly seats,' he stated. 'We haven't received any updates about the alliance from the high command. If we don't hear today, we'll release our list for all 90 seats by evening.'

With just three days left before the nomination deadline, the AAP remains firm on contesting all 90 seats if no alliance is formed. The voting for the assembly elections is scheduled for October 5, with the last date for filing nominations on September 12. (ANI)
