BJP Candidate RS Pathania Vows Transformation in Jammu & Kashmir in Upcoming Assembly Polls

BJP's RS Pathania claims upcoming Jammu and Kashmir legislative assembly polls will impact all of South Asia. He promised peace and development under BJP's leadership, following the abrogation of Article 370. Elections are set for September and October 2023.

Speaking from the East Udampur constituency, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate RS Pathania emphasized that the impending legislative assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir would shape the future not only for the region but for all of South Asia. Pathania predicted a majority win for the BJP.

Pathania highlighted the region's history of suffering, citing 'violence, bloodshed, and corruption.' He asserted that since the abrogation of Article 370 on August 5, 2019, the BJP has been committed to creating a peaceful, empowered, and just Jammu and Kashmir.

Expressing gratitude to the party's high command for his candidacy, Pathania vowed that the BJP would achieve a 'clean sweep' in the upcoming polls. The elections, set in three phases on September 18, 25, and October 1, will be the first since the revocation of Article 370.
