The Congress announced nine additional candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly polls on Sunday, bolstering their list to 41 out of the total 90 seats.

Notable inclusions are Brijendra Singh contesting from Uchana Kalan and Mohit Grover standing from Gurugram. The Tosham seat will see a high-profile clash between Anirudh Chaudhary, a cricket administrator turned politician, and his cousin, BJP's Shruti Choudhry, both grandchildren of former Chief Minister Bansi Lal.

Brijendra Singh, a former MP and son of ex-Union Minister Birender Singh, will take on sitting JJP MLA Dushyant Chautala in Uchana Kalan. Additionally, the Congress fielded candidates like Paramvir Singh, a former minister, and Ashok Arora, an ex-Assembly Speaker.
