Vijay's New Party Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam Gets EC Nod

Top Tamil actor and Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam party founder, Vijay, announced on Sunday that the Election Commission has officially registered his political outfit.
Vijay, emphasizing the principle of equality, revealed that an application for registration was submitted on February 2. The EC has now granted permission for the party to participate in electoral politics. Taking to X, Vijay stated, "The first door has opened for us, which heralds all round success."
Preparations are underway for the party's first state conference. Vijay's announcement comes as party officials seek permission to hold the conference in Vikravandi, Villupuram district. Last month, Vijay introduced the party flag and anthem, marking the official formation of the party earlier in February.
