AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha announced on Sunday that discussions with Congress are underway to create an alliance for the Haryana elections, setting aside their individual aspirations.
Chadha remarked that while a consensus has yet to be reached, the ongoing talks are progressing positively, aiming for a favorable outcome. However, he emphasized that AAP would not move forward with the alliance unless a win-win situation is guaranteed.
Both parties continue to deliberate on seat-sharing arrangements, with polling set for October 5 and the nomination deadline on September 12. AAP is reportedly demanding 10 seats, while Congress is offering seven, but Chadha withheld specific details regarding the negotiations.
