Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday asserted that Odisha's 'double engine' government—referring to BJP's governance at both state and central levels—will pave the way for the state's development and prosperity.
Speaking at a BJP membership event in Barang under the Banki assembly segment in Cuttack district, Majhi underscored the party's people-centric initiatives, such as promptly opening all gates of the Shree Jagannath Temple and the Ratna Bhandar after assuming power. He described these actions as testament to the government's commitment to the populace.
Highlighting BJP's distinct ideology focused on inclusive development, Majhi appealed to citizens to join the party, setting a membership target of 1 crore, a significant leap from the current 41 lakh. He also acknowledged his lunch at the house of a party worker, showcasing his connection with grassroots members.
